I binge watched it today.
It was okay. I liked that all the characters have grey shades to them and are in this constant tussle between what is good for them and what is right. But what happens is you don't empathize with anyone, you feel like they deserve what's happening to them.

A few good actors in spl appearances. The main cast wasn't all that amazing except the guy playing Karan, he was decent. His character comes across as the most sorted one. Messing up and trying to correct things. I didn't like Jim Sarbh too much in the show😕

I liked the various angles and issues taken up. Delving into the devious ways of the rich. Writing could have been better.

I didn't think the show was that great.Acting was below par I thought (except for Arjun Mathur and Vikrant Massey). Jim Sarbh was godawful - no way did he seem Punjabi to me. His hindi accent is so weird - seemed Persian or something to me. And sorry I have to say this but - Sobitha's lips were hugely distracting.

Jim Sarbh was a big let down! So monotonous so bland, so was Kalki. what a waste of talent.. Sobhita is bomb and Massey was my fav with his 2 minutes into the role!! I didn't find the series to be extraordinarily good or anything. Just shows how reviews are biased. I enjoyed other web series a lot more.

^ Yeah, esp now that it's been a few days, the whole 'best web series I've ever seen' reviews do sound really biased, because while the show isn't terrible, it's not outstanding or extraordinary at all - decent at best.
There were a lot of plot holes / gaps in the plot, and the writing faltered in several scenes, and like you mentioned, Jim Sarbh was definitely miscast - he didn't seem like the typical snobby high society Delhi Punjabi guy by any means.

Shaadi.com is the best show/movie made on such subject.
Not going overboard or plain vanilla.

I saw first episode last night. And English is off putting at times.
There is always a Pseudo-intellectual theme running in background of Zoya stories.

Realized I never reviewed the show.
Okay so I really liked it. I have a girl crush on Sobhita now. What a hottie! 😳 Agree that Jim didn't look or sound Punjabi but I found his acting fine. Didn't like Kalki as much honestly. Overall, I enjoyed it much more than Sacred Games. What casting though! Almost every guy in this show was a looker.
Oh but I loved Zoya's episodes so much more than the others! Can clearly see a difference in level haha

Also why does Jim Sarbh speak with a Persian accent. It's so damn distracting

KRK is trash and Rahul is a pretentious snob. I love Rahul.
