Had an off day yesterday so binge-watched the whole thing. Too lazy to write a long review, so will keep it terse.
Every episode brings a new wedding and with it come fresh social problems for the team at the wedding company to tackle. This can get a little monotonous and dull after a point, but the issues that are taken up are different at each wedding and quite relatable as well.
Karan's constant struggle with the society and the world at large is well depicted, and at times very disturbing to watch. Some politically sensitive folks may take issue with the portrayal of just one political group of the society being shown as villains.
The characters are deeply flawed. They make mistakes, connive, make up excuses for their mistakes or not so pleasant actions. Sometimes they are even totally confused in the head - the whole thing with Jim Sarbh's character. They should have given him more depth in my opinion. I just couldnt feel anything for his character.
Basically, no one's a doodh ka dhula here and the characters in the series also are quite aware of this fact.
Overal not a bad watch and entertaining. Reminds one of Dil Dhadakne do at times.
