Lootera was a gem in its own way amnd always will be close to my heart. Ranveer's role as Varun Shivastav and the music of Lootera are deeply loved by many RS fans.

Gully Boy is also a gem - Ranveer's portrayal of Murad is one of the best .

I still remember the date I saw Lootera in theaters..July 5th, 2013. It was that special. 😆. I think a few years after (maybe some time in 2016?), I was cleaning my room and found the movie tickets (fading in color). I think I actually deliberately decided to keep the tickets as some sort of souvenir of my experience. 😆

The film's music is one of the best I have ever heard out of Bollywood. I still have the the songs saved in my playlist (Gullyboy's music isn't the same). I have made it a point to add those songs to any new playlist I have created when changing music portals. The music also takes me back to the entire film experience with Ranveer being a huge part of it. There was a certain level of innocence and rawness within Ranveer's performance that can perhaps never be replicated. I have gone back to see the Pakhi and Varun confrontation scene where Ranveer says she's the only person who has truly loved him whereas others have only used him. Ranveer gets to me every time. I still think about that film every now and then..so, for Ranveer to beat that, it's going to be difficult. 😆

Ranveer's performance in Lootera has always been my favorite. I went in watching that film in theaters without any expectation and at a time when Ranveer was not where he is today, and I walked out loving the film and his performance. I still till this day can never get over how brilliant Ranveer was. I disagree with those who always say it was Sonakshi's film..I felt people tried making it her film, but it was just as much of Ranveer's film. In fact, he was the best performer in my eyes.

So, Ranveer in Lootera will always have a special place in my heart (as cheesy as it sounds). I have disliked Ranveer in a lot of his over the past few years, but if there was one film that always made me still like him despite all of that, was Lootera. With that said, I can not answer this question.😆

IKR. Lootera will be his best for me. That movie made me his fan which I am not anymore seeing how annoying he has become these years. But that movie and his performance in it still makes me have the soft spot for him. Haven't seen GB and I don't think I will see it due to bitchy Alia. But Lootera is special and will remain so! I loved Sonakshi and him in it ❤️
