I don't agree with her reviews but man I love her. She seems so humble and honest. She openly admits she doesn't know everything. And she truly loves cinema. I love that about her. More than a critic both her and Rajeev should be applauded for the conversations they create. For Anupama I freaking love film companion. I love the addas. I love the roundtables, the top 50 films ever. She gives quality content for people like me who want to see more film discussions, not who is Ranbir and Alia sleeping with.

I prefer baradwaj for his interviews and his discussions on the youtube channel. And yes some of his film reviews are at a tangent but he makes me think deeply. Anupama comes off very pretentious

I know she's a big Ranveer Singh fan, but still, I don't know how she liked that movie. I mean to each their own, but I tried so hard to like Befikre but failed. It was that bad for me.

just one question since anupama does not know hindi , how is she able to critic hindi movies when she would not understand dialogues , subtitles ke saath movie dekhti hai kya??

She understands Hindi maybe not as fluent while speaking. She used to host a show for Star network both in Hindi and English. The Hindi and Enligsh version of the show was aired in different network if I recall correctly.

I usually don't watch critics and their videos online! ... But I enjoy watching Anupama ... Since I don't follow most of them religiously, not sure how good a critic she is but I love the fact that she makes all her guests comfortable without getting condescending ... even if there are those commercial lovers who get on the sit name calling her as a pseudo intellectual [Rohit Shetty :eye roll:]! ... She's also FAIR in not reviewing her husband's movies [cuts down the baggage since in SM era even if she were to genuinely like his movies she'll be lambasted for it ergo undermine her work as a critic] .. so the fact she disregards his movies makes her a professional who values the love and passion for her work!

I can understand Hindi but not speak it. The language I grew up speaking with my grandparents was Punjabi.
