Can't say she is the best thing in Bollywood right now, but she does have the script sense. I don't know who chose her scripts - herself, Papa Jo or her team. But she chooses good movies, that's for sure.

Another factor that works in her favour is that not only is she a hard worker but also tries to improve upon her weakness in each successive movie. From a non-actor in SOTY to her performance in GB has been one heck of a journey. She is at her weakest in crying scenes, even in critically acclaimed Raazi, her crying scenes sucked. But I was pleasantly surprised with the way she delivered similar scenes in GB. She delivered the mixture of feistiness and vulnerability so effortlessly...

So yeah, she is here to stay at least for another few years. Best, well not yet...The day she will be able to pull a movie on her own will be the day we can level her that.

she's good. I like to watch her on screen. but shes not the best. the only thing that has made her successful is her film opportunities. she can and will have competition one day when other actresses get similar type of work. right now her work and films are way better than what most of the others are getting and that is why she is touted as the best thing right now. so no need to hype her up, because the hype wont last for her 5 years from now.

I feel that too. I think she is great and however she gets her films she makes the best of her opportunities but there is something that doesn't draw me into her.
