A WOM film like Gully Boy dropping on day 2 means two things,

1. The WOM is not positive.

2. The movie indeed got a boost from Valentine's day, which it did otherwise there is no reason for makers to release it on Thursday.

Well that was bound to happen. This was a hyped film, so a lot more people saw it on the first day than they would otherwise .Plus Valentine's Day numbers are always higher than surrounding numbers. Not everything is a conspiracy.

Anyway, wom seems good in metros. This one will sail through easily. Third straight win for Ranveer.

And BOI are one minded idiots, if the movie doesn't click with small centers! these guys give tags like European, Australian, Lauda, Lasan and so on.

I understand GB got boost due to Valentine's day but then so do other movies that release on partial/full holidays! ... No?! .. How about those that release on Diwali or Christmas? .. Do BOI also use such excuse that holiday is the reason for BO success?! ..
