Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's relationship seems to be constantly in the limelight for their ups and downs. In a video, which has got fans into a frenzy, shows an agitated Kapoor arguing with Bhatt, with some suggesting Bhatt deserves a better boyfriend than Kapoor.

Refuting the rumours, a friend told Deccan Chronicle, "There's no problem between them [Ranbir and Alia]. Their fans are paranoid because of his past relationships and the way they've ended. To be very honest, we don't know which way this would go. But at the moment they are in a comfortable space.

The source added that the tiff could be down to the intimate scenes featuring Bhatt and her co-star Ranveer Singh in their latest release Gully Boy'. It added, "Maybe, Ranbir was a little piqued about Alia sharing so many kisses with Ranveer in the film. If he's playing the possessive boyfriend this time, that's a good sign. It means he's more serious about Alia than anyone else.

Asked Bhatt about the rumoured tiff, she was cited in the publication saying, "I was definitely Valentining on that day. Since I've been promoting Gully Boy, I had a late night and woke up late on Valentine's Day. I was flooded with messages and greetings about our film along with some Valentine's greetings and some marriage proposals from strangers as well. Valentine's Day was also the release day for our film. So we tried to give each positive energy, helped each another get over our anxiety.

She added, "Trust me I've no problem telling them apart. Ranbir and Ranveer are two very different people. Even their names, though they may sound similar to the outside world, they are quite separate in my head and in my speech.

Firstly, whose bad PR is this? Seems like Alia's since she's the one giving statements. This only shows RK in a bad light... shows how insecure he is. I mean he is the one known to be cheating on his gfs and he's the one who has problems with their "kissing scene, which is just part of their job...Matlab pathetic 🤪. RK babu, RS is not interested in your Aloo... he has a beautiful wife who he loves 😆

If RS could totally be understanding of DP being in a movie with her ex (RK), then I don't know what is RK's problem... It's not like Alia and RS dated in the past.

What does it mean by if he's being possessive boyfriend, then it's a good sign he's more serious about her than anyone else? 😲 . Matlab He was not serious about Kat who he dated for 5 years? Such disrespect to Kat 🤢.

Both need to fire their PR people because this article is pathetic.

And for Alia's sake I hope that friend's statements are completely made up and fictional. Because otherwise she's screwed. Bad enough that RK who as an actor himself has done kissing scenes is jealous of Alia's on screen kissing, but saying it's good news because it means he's serious about her is troubling. This is a huge sign of an abusive relationship where the man will lash out and act possessive but then justify it by saying he's only jealous because he doesn't want to lose her. Extremely problematic article. And before RK fans jump on me, no I'm not saying RK is abusive. I'm saying I hope this so called source referenced here is completely wrong.

Alia's part doesn't even make sense. I wonder if she was caught off guard and just started rambling. Or she got nervous and started rambling.
