Omgg..they are 57 yrs old 😕. They will be 60 in 3 yrs. Oh god. I feel like I was watching Shriman-Shrimati just a few yrs ago.😕 I was really really tiny when that show used to air. Along with Tu tu main main.

Ashok saraf. He is 70 yrs old I think n is not active in the industry. He is a huge name in marathi industry n theatre.

Look age difference in relationships do not bother me. Sometimes people of varying ages just click. It's alright.

That being said age difference does bother me if both partners are not older than 25-30 years. In fact, I am opposed to marriages as well until both people are over 25.

People between ages 18-25 may be adults, but they are still growing mentally. Their personalities are developing. Their worldviews are developing. They deserve the chance to experience the world before deciding what they want in life and relationship.

Mira and Shahid look happy. I hate to comment on marriages. But it has always unnerved me that a twenty-something married a 33-year-old. And if there was any romantic spark or interaction when she was 16, it is beyond creepy.

It sounds creepy but as long as Shahid was not romancing her back then or marriage talks were not going on, then its fine.

As it is they have a big age gap, just like Saif Kareena.

This was a full on arranged marriage so I doubt anything happened back then. Their families knew of each other and had a mutual spiritual guru so it's not that shocking that they were at the same event together before. But I don't think anything happened when Mira was 16. Wasn't there a story that when Shahid's family approached Mira's with the proposal at first Mira's family thought it was for Ishaan because of the age difference?

As for their age difference, I was kind of surprised that Shahid himself said if he had to do it all over again he'll pick someone older than Mira. I guess certain differences due to age are catching up to him.

I do want to clarify that I don't think age gaps are weird as long as it's of legal age and person can consent. I am sure Mira and Shahid didn't do anything when she was at that age, but I just felt it is weird for her to be so thrilled of meeting him at that age. Just made me feel a bit weird, that's all.

Dude, NO WAY can a 20 something year old be at the same mental & intellectual level or life stage as a 30 something year old. That is literally how I felt about Priyanka and Nick Jonas. Same goes for Mira and Shahid and Kareena and Saif. Like they are an entire DECADE apart. 10 YEARS. Imagine how much a person evolves in 10 years. ESPECIALLY when you are in your 20's, life is still evolving and you are very imdecisive. Heck, a person evolves so much in just a year so imagine 10 years. Let's put physical attraction and lust aside for a minute because to get married, you have to look beyond that because at some point, you want to have someone understand or relate to you. I'm in my 20's and I make dumb AF decisions all the times..Can't imagine marrying a person who is so much older. I don't know, I personally get uncle or brother type vibes from people who are much older. Can't imagine looking at them any other way

That's a good point. I do agree with that. I know there are lots of people who will defend that and say "but that person is so mature for their age" Yeah, well doesn't mean they might have the same ambitions in life or whatever.
