This is a major issue for outsiders/struggling actress. Nepo kids/ established actors will get other offers. Such issue won't matter but this is a huge issue for her. She is calling out unfair and unethical practice. Nothing wrong and yeah KARMA will get back to everyone eventually.

I think Firstly, she was not yet an employee. She has only her stupidity to blame.

Secondly, Attitude matters more than (questionable) talent. If you keep badmouthing your seniors n those around, you will be shown the door. This is Standard HR practice. People dont give you work to tolerate your loud mouth. And what "hardwork"? Are u doing it for free? You are paid to do it and doing for your self interests. And in a Business, it is an Investment for the Employer that comes with a risk.

Unless you are a Salman or Rajesh Khanna who can bring in the numbers at the Box office, keep your attitude at your home. Nobody is obliged to tolerate your so-called sob stories. Even the Employers including Karan Johar and his father worked very hard to reach where they are now. So, they have every right NOT to invest in you. And he has the Choice and Right to work with those he likes and is comfortable with. It is his money after all. Dont like it? Dont watch his films.

Glad that Taapsee is venting outher disappointment and gone are the days when one has to let go and move on...why??????

why cant she put her foot down and call out her disappointment on losing projects becoz of someone else .

what is this nonsense that it happens so move on and it happens all the time so you should move on.

Ultimately its her life and her profession. If she feels upset and dejected about something that happened, she has every right to vent it out , whether on media or social media or anywhere.

I hate this " move on" "let go" " it happens" " you are not the only one"

if someone speaks up, they have an attitude...ufff this is the thought process we need to get away from...

What kinda employers give fakeass promises to a potential employee. The scamster ones lol.

What standard HR practice. One is allowed to complain about malpractice by a senior, junior,whoever. HR is there to listen to those issues. HR is there is listen to your 'sob stories' as you call it and speak for you too. No clue where this no complains HR practice is run or taught. Definitely not in the mecca of HR in India that much I can guarantee. If someone's HR aint listening to their employees they are not doing their work lol. The employers are responsible for a safe and transparent environment too. This ain't the dark ages lol where employees need to shut up and move on. Especially the women. If an employer doesn't want to invest in someone they shouldn't give a candidate fake promises that they made it and they need you to clear your schedule to join. They 'd send the offer letter a lil letter. Period. Thats the analogy. She was a fool but those employers need to be exposed lest they scam someone else too in the future.

Anyway, this chalta hain attitude in the guise of professionalism is very old school and defeats the entire purpose of having a voice. Damn i wonder if noone ever spoke of casting couch it'd still be as rampant as it was decades ago. This 'jis thali mein' bs in this age? So whatever happens one must accept and keep quiet? Any industry that follows that thought is a dark and disgusting space.
