this interview only again showed what a vile person she is... the way she said lets not go there, when the reporter mentioned Krish... and then blaming him for not love the movie, cause he spoke up... of course if he hadn't it would be easy for her to take the credit easily... Also debut director on basis of what ?? doing patch work is the only job a director has, right ? 🤢

Just finished the interview! ... I like that she went into explaining what directing means .. As an audience Ofc I don't know much technicalities about directing and its specifies ..

She says "shooting" is mostly done by ADs ..

Director is someone who takes the final call on how the film should look .. And that she did! .. She scraped what was given to her and re-built it according to what she thought the film should look like! ... Hence, she claims since the final product was her call, she deserves her credit as a director! .. [If anyone knows more of what a "director" does, they can shed some light on the discussion since a lot of us may not very familiar with it]!

Also spoke about the "dubbing issue" how male actor was ok with it during the talk since they didn't "Bengali accent" to sneak in .. With his permission they went ahead with it! ..

Rest is her POVs, explanations and her opinion on the movie and various controversies! .. And Ofc "Nepotism" ... 😆 ..

4thPrincoholic, if that was indeed what she told about a director's work, she has either no clue or is lying.

You may take a look into the Internet. There are many sites who describe the work of a director.

Btw, assistant directors very rarely do shootings...and it would only be for some small scenes. But a description of their work, you would also find in the Net.

Don't believe Kangana. As she was acting in the scenes she added, there may have been an assistant director who said "action", but as a director, it was her task to discuss angles and light with the cinematographer or the cameramen.

She supervised the editing, that I believe, because eventually that had been her goal all the way. You decide the narrative arc or focus while editing and you can change the flavour of a story which can lead to destroy the initial vision or to better it.

She is a good (and very often a convincing) actress.

Personally, I don't believe her in most of what she says (no importance how true it sounds), but that doesn't take away from her skills as an actress. Only, in the long run, she will destroy herself (leaving a lot of hurt people behind)...and yes, she may still use sex as a tool (pretended or performed, doesn't matter).

Her fans may keep being her fans, but if indeed it is compulsive, she herself would be the final victim.

Saw it finally against my better judgement 😆

So this time everyone who doesn't get to do " interviews " was doing one by dissing her and the movie 😆 Jeetu , Mishti , Sonu and krish did this for " solo " interviews !

From the industry it was aalia , Meghna , Aamir and Vicky's turn to go under the bus 😆
