At this point, i would just suggest him to do small budget movies, no outdoor shoot, dont spend much, just stick to content, take a leap from web series, too good content.

Take away DDLJ and KKHH from his career and he is left with nothing to celebrate in his entire career. All his movies flopped outside dharma and YRF. Whatever stardom hed had was all thanks to media due to his closeness with Congress and underworld influence in Bollywood.

Now with those two factors out of scene, he is back to where he originally belonged..I.e out of bollywood😆

In today's time even people like vicky and rajkumar rao have 100 cr movies under their belt in just few years of their career. Now this is the real connect whether media hypes them or not they are proving their worth where it matters.

Though y'all can still cry for shahrukh Khan's demise as a superstar as if its a recent thing .. the fact is he was done n dusted long back from a neutral perspective.😆😆

As I don't belong to the domestic audience I can only read the comments with interest and do guesses coming from my own perception...and I'm more a person for facts.

Fact for me is that I still find his movies entertaining...and I like how he treats women in movies as they get meaningful roles and are even allowed to be stronger than him (I don't mean the screentime but the characters).

Just lately in Zero he let Katrina powerfully and confidently shine that she was almost unanimously praised for her performance. Aafia, too, had more power and strength than Bauua who had to learn it more and more during the movie. In CE, Deepika is the one who propels the action, in HNY Deepika is far more likable as character than Charlie, in JTHJ he gives up on Meera and it's Anushka's character who pushes him back to life and love. In Raees Mahira's character is his equal...

SRK is such a confident actor that he doesn't shy away to play imperfect, weak or dammaged - very human and real - charcters like in Zero, JHMS, Fan, Dilwale, HNY and CE. Maybe the domestic audience don't want (or can't) identify with those characters but would like to identify with SRK. So there would be almost constant frustration.

SRK is getting older,. Does not now suit that much in romances with youngies just like in recent Harry meets sejal,... PPL now a days don't like much, running behind the trees or singing in alps and sooraj huaa madhyum,... kinda fake songs,.. ( they are good for fast-forward only, the minute they interrupt the story,.. ) . but rather movies touching the real lives - our daily normal-life,.. like raazi, manmarziyaan, andhadhun, badhayi ho, hindi medium, and many such movies of ayushyaman, Vicky, Raj, Varun, Irfan , Nawaz and such,.. people's mindset and mentality has also changed,... HNY and dilwale,.. kinda movie bahoot ho chuka,... FAN was a movie made per 80's people's mentality,... RAEES jaisi gunda-girdi bhi Gangster series of movies dekh kar pak chuke,...

New young comers actors, today,.. give more reality to our own's close life with family-like situations in low budget movies,... Hence SRK fails,... Salman will do the same soon,... after his Race 3,... When Ranveer like, are also taking away his roles in, Padmavat and SIMMBA now,..

The romance in JHMS was a bit too risque to connect with most audiences.

Zero - I haven't seen but it tried to do too much in a script and the result was some unnatural flow and some W*F towards the end

Srk start: srk start was most unconventional for an actor who became superstar later...negative roles, supporting roles, experiments, tv: baazigar, anzaam , maya memsaab, fouzi, circus, king uncle, deewana, aashiyaana

Stardom: karan arjun, ddlj, dtph, khhh...action, romantic, he got used to it...as we do something again and again...we got used to it and it loses its sheen when used too much ..

Stardom intact: chak de, om shanti om , main hoon na...romance+patriotism+action... Variance , something new fresh, fresh pairing,new directors hungry to prove, sincerity towards career...

Now srk the star/actor takes backseat...kjo is in full form in kwk in buttering giving big intros to him.like he is unbeatable there is nothing he can do wrong...srk thinks he has achieved everything...which is true actually...pc happens who is kjo part 2...srk who had Gauri after running behind her...has pc who declares some pure/unconditional love for him... Ego booster forfa person who had run behind anybody...un the person who always had this metrosexual personality kind of beta suddenly wants to go alpha...

He takes up kbc and exposes himself first by making him vulnerable in coming comparison with ab sr...and then as a host and loses sheen...people start to realise he is not the brightest star...then 1 more flop show jhatka...

Srk gets into this pseudo intellectual type people kjo (who is shrwed himself but bad for closed ones), pc, anushka, deepika, arjun mehr

And starts believing in scripts like jthj, jhms, hny, zero, fan...

Nobody blames anushka...she has given three disasters more than any actress : bombay velvet, jab tak( it can be counted for yash and srk combo),jab harry...zero

Everybody is behind Ranbirand srk..

And Srk still believe female equal pay, female name coming first...lol..how does it help...who has contributed more that person name should be first...does srk put all female names first? Is there any anushka to take blame now for jthj, jhms, zero...? Equal pay n all ..lol

So u can imagine how deep he has got into pseudo equality and left pragmatism behind...it reflects on scripts too.. Gauri is also not substantial to keep it real...she has also gone away from reality...kids also give me very anil kapoor kids vibes( i love harsh sona despite their flaws)

Others khans have family..in Aamir case how much he tries to cover himself in media created feminism...at the core he knows what it takes for his film except for thugs ... Moreover kiran, reena, his son daughter look intelligent enough to keep him in check..

Salman how much people consider him dumb...but he is not atleast pseudo ...he has very alpha personality...who doesnt get carry away with anu / kjo types and airs to ruin Sultan type films ...he will work with katrina/kareena to deliver if he doesnt get anu/dp... Moreover i think he has father to guide...

As for superstars of such stature they need somebody to keep in check...
