I like it.

His diction seems a bit funny to me in some words. But I think he has made a good effort to get into the skin of a street rapper.

Also, lyrical flow and meter in Hindi is different. So you cannot always compare to English.

Exactly. The flow is different in hindi.

According to whom? And You represent the fans of American rap? Wow...it's one thing to say you don't like it but talking for everyone who listens to rap. That's the joke.

Funny how suddenly everyone becomes rap experts.

I am a fan of american rap but i can't see anything comical or wannabe in this video. Btw why are you bringing american rap in this when this movie has nothing to do with american rappers?

Baba Sehgal was comical and wannabe. I don't see Gully Boy in that light. As I mentioned some of the diction comes across as funny.
That being said isn't rap is known for its rivalry and dis tracks. Tupac fans think everyone else is a comical wannabe. Ice-T thinks commercial rappers are comical wannabes. Commercial rappers think Ice loves Coco is the height of comical and gimmicky. Azaelia Banks thinks Nicky Minaj and Cardi B are comical wannabes. Nicky Minaj and Cardi B are too busy clawing each other to even care. Eminem thinks Macklemore is a comical wannabe. Someone else thinks Eminem and Macklemore are white appropriators.

So from a certain point of view, being dissed as a comical wannabe is a necessary rite of passage to be a rapper.

What is American rap anyway? Philly Gangsta? East Coast Hip Hop? Midwestern Ghetto Tech? Dirty South Trap? LA Ratchet? Do we even count Valley Girl? Is Iggy Azalea a rapper or a flowering shrub? What is Pitbull - Latin or Rap?

I'm a huge enthusiast of all things rap and am glad there is nothing remotely American here cause guess what, its Indian rap. 😆 Again hiphop and rap have no nationality. Why would anyone expect American style from Indians. 😆 Thats so moronic. The comment above is the true joke thinking American rap is some sort of standard or something. FYI, most artists around the world make an effort to distance themselves from the american scene altogether cause authenticity is the key.

@bold This is so true. Even the British, French, and Moroccan rap scenes are culturally different than the American one because of exactly what you said. "Real" rap reflects personal experience, not imitation.

OT: Love this song.

You must be a fan of mumble rap. 😆 They're not American nor are they trying to be Americans or rapping in English, rap music has spread throughout the globe and adapted by all cultures, nothing comical/wannabe about this at all.
