Looks like many IF members turned off the TV without watching but still it became best premiere on TV 😲

Clearly IF members are in minority who do not like janhvi or the movie then real world 😆

The problem is that you think your opinion is all that matters. If you don't like a movie, you qualify that movie as bad content.

The reality is that what you may consider bad content may be perceived as good content by many other people. You didn't like Dhadak, many other did since it was a HIT boxoffice wise and on TV.

Everything that masses likes are hated by forum people.

In real world, Dhadak is loved by majority, so is Janhvi. Hence the movie is hit, songs are all chartbusters, TV premiere was a blockbuster.

The topic started as Dhadak having the best premiere on television. Which means most number of people saw the film on TV.

Then the dialogue shifted to how probably people saw it to check how bad it is from the original as if Maharashtra represents the whole of India.(Sairat was a marathi film).

Then it changed to how Dhadak was an average film box office was when it was a hit at the box office and TV screens as declared by the trade.

Jab usko oppose nahi kar paye then the narrative became how not all box office hits are good content films so Dhadak is a bad content film.

Jab woh bhi log nahi maane then start blaming the TV watching audience and judge them super hard.Matlab jin logon ne dhadak dekhi, saare gawaar hai and have bad choice.

Topic start hua questioning the hit status of Dhadak on national TV aur khatam hua by questioning the viewing choices of the audience.😆

Arre get off your high horses and try to understand how TV viewership works. TV premiere numbers are important because it takes into account the households who are not the cinema going audience. They are the ones who do not have the luxury of spending on films every weekend and wait for one festival film. And that is the majority of India. Hence the more TRPS, the more popular the film is. And repeat telecast of certain films show the repeat value of the film on the audience's mind. Matlab log woh movie dekhna pasand karte hai.

Dhadak has not just had a brilliant TV premiere but like I mentioned earlier, excellent reruns on Zee's sister channels every now and then, the reason why it is always presented as Zee Cinema premiere, &tv premiere, & cinema premiere, etc on weekend primetime.

There's a reason why TV premieres of films matter. Otherwise TV channels are not idiots to spend crores of rupees acquring satellite rights of films left right and center.
