What you consider good content doesn't sell on tv.
Content is subjective.
Top 5 movies on the list also were all atleast a HIT on box office. If they worked in cinemas and on TV, it means the content of those movies has been appreciated by large proportion of the audience.

As if what works at the box office is always good content? Govinda comedies use sell at the box Office at one point. And Dhadak was average box office and critics reviews wise. I thought even that was overrating the crap it was.

This forum & its opinion are from a different planet. Never take it seriously. 😆
Everything that masses likes are hated by forum people.

In real world, Dhadak is loved by majority, so is Janhvi. Hence the movie is hit, songs are all chartbusters, TV premiere was a blockbuster.

Dude, we get it. You hate Janhvi and the movie. Your opinion is one thing, but let's speak factually here. I have observed you trying to spread this narrative in many threads now. BOI, Taran etc have all declared a CLEAN hit. No ifs, buts... flat out clean hit in every medium! So where are you coming from?! *rhetorical. your resentment and level of objectivity is rather visible*

Again certai tv shows are great. There was a time Indian TV was ahead of movies in terms of content. But than due to rating competition people started making more regressive (sad-bahu or mysogynistic) content. We call out regressive movies. Why not serials. And it is a trend everywhere. What sells with the masses always isn't the best content. It holds true for Hollywood too. Titanic would be a good example.

Same! I think I lasted ten minutes. Ive seen the original and I was kind of shocked how even in the first five minutes it was evident this was a cheap china copy. The weird po*no dream sequence and food contest scene were so trashy. Instant turn off.

Jhanvi acting and face made it unbearable to watch.

I remember one scene where Jhanvi pronounced flurry as floory like so much for only English speaking star kids yet can't pronounce a word properly.
