But the credit should go to Ranveer Singh only. The film apparently isnt even that good, it's only he who carried it on his shoulders and made it something different that your run of the mill masala. Itna acting kiya...itna acting...😆

yup it is totally a Ranveer show, they took a gritty movie like Temper and made Simmba which was lets be honest a much mellow version while also adding the fight against rape track and the revenge plot, so the north audience could relate and also family audience is able to get behind the hero.
Also the climax is changed totally so it can fit the Singham Franchise that Rohit is trying to built.

Temper was hardly about revenge rather about self realization and guilt trip that the protagonist faces, plus Junior NTR's Daya was more of an asshole badass while Simmba was an natkhat and chulbul boy. Maybe they did this to compliment Singham in later installment.

Had no idea Simmba was a remake. Does anyone in Bollywood ever have a original idea in their heads? All they do is make remakes after remakes. The caricature reaction of this guy withstanding, south industries should be way more appreciated considering how many of their films and stories bollywood jacks and remakes. And the irony is that they consider themselves to be the more superior of the lot after making that profit. 🥱
