You can't define the scenes as 'copied', because the movie is a remake itself.And Nikita's character is not an added 9ne, she is playing the character of the film actress who was a fling of Arjun Reddy.

The teaser of Shahid Kapoor starrer Kabir Singh has been breaking the internet and fans can't stop praising the actor. The Hindi remake of Telugu blockbuster Arjun Reddy, it Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in the lead. The actor's raw and rebellious avatar in the teaser of the film has got us hooked in a way that it will instantly remind you of Shahid from Udta Punjab.
As the netizens continue to shower love on Shahid and the film's teaser, it's now Vijay Deverakonda who starred in the original film, Arjun Reddy who has something to say for the actor. Deverakonda took to his social media handle to share the teaser and wish all luck to the team.

Talking about the film, Shahid had earlier said, "I usually don't watch too many films in Telugu and it surprised me with its tonality, rawness, simplicity and the fact that it was so real and believable. The star, who is undoubtedly one of the most loved celebs in the tinsel town, is currently working on his next film Kabir Singh. Helmed by Sandeep Vanga, the movie is the remake of Telegu hit Arjun Reddy and features Kiara Advani as the female lead. The actors wrapped up their upcoming release earlier today.

Earlier this week, Kabir Singh's teaser was released online and it has left fans impressed. The film revolves around a medical student Kabir Singh (played by Shahid) who has major anger management issues and also becomes an alcoholic due to his failed relationship. The teaser gives fans a sneak-peek into Shahid's character.
Interestingly, Shahid went through an extreme physical transformation for his role in the film as he had to look like college student and also had to nail the look of a struggling alcoholic. While the actor had to put on 8 kilos to appear bloated in some parts of the movie, he also had to lose 14 kilos to look like a young medical student.
Talking about his struggles to capture the essence of his character, Shahid had earlier said, "I don't endorse smoking whatsoever. However, the role required it as the protagonist has this angst and rage within him. It wasn't easy and it came to a point where I smoked almost 20 cigarettes a day. It would take me close to 2 hours to freshen up before I returned home to my children."
Kabir Singh which will be Shahid and Kiara's first film together will hit the screens on June 21.
