She genuinely has a crush on him but yes most definitely she milked it to hype her pair with Kartik for Imtiaz ' film for may be fund generation or to get a credible PH to back the project .

Or may be backtracking now since after many weeks he still isn't giving her any "bhav" ... 😆

Can I just say I haven't been following Simmba promotions. I don't know what her approach to this Kartik topic is now.

But during Kedarnath promotions whenever it was brought up it didn't appear to be a simple case of 'oh if I had to date someone I'd choose Kartik'. It was 'please tell him I think he's cute...send him my address...Why hasn't he asked me out yet?' Yes, media kept bringing it up, but she also gave the overenthusiastic replies. You can't blame people for taking it seriously 😆

So maybe she was reacting differently then and she's reacting differently now. And this is why we are looking at this differently? Just a thought...

Do you have a crush on Karthik and want to date him ? If not, I dont see the reason you are so annoyed... 😆

I get annoyed when actors play very obvious games with the audience and take them for fools.

I mean yes I understand this is a part and parcel of this industry. It's not the first time and definitely not the last.

It was just the blatant obviousness of it that I felt like calling out. That's all.

I don't know but to me somewhere down the line, Sara has lot all sorts of credibility. I genuinely loved her during Kedarnath promotions but slowly everything she has been saying sounds fake. I still love her for her sense of humour-I really think actors these days lack one and on top of that, she is very intelligent and smart with her answers but her mannerisms and body language is what makes me question her authenticity. I myself was maintaining her interview topic during KD but somehow did not feel like following any of her Simmba promotions because she started sounding rehearsed and way too down to earth.

And now that Simmba has released and all her promotions are done, a big round of applause to her PR team or whoever is behind her image makeover for completely changing Sara from an attitude dikhane wali snob to a jhalli, down to earth darling. The Sara before KD and after KD is totally different in front of the camera. I remember seeing videos where she would shout at the paparazzi, turn her face and show her hand while showing some sass to paps residing near her gym, used to refuse selfies, not even smile at the cameras, get startled seeing a beggar on street and dash to her car and many more things. At that point, all of her videos used to have negative comments, mainly about her attitude and starry vibes. Funnily, at that point of time, in social media it was 'Look Janhvi is so sweet and nice, Sara is so full of herself and full of attitude, etc.' There are even videos of the same on Youtube.

From that to suddenly smiling for the paps, suddenly getting down in the middle of the road at the shani mandir in Juhu and distributing clothes and doing seva to the poor while paps clicked in all their glory, being this chirpy and full of life girl who wouldn't even care to smile at the very same paps her team would probably call near her gym, the whole Kartik thing and being the nation's current darling, big props to her PR team to change her image for the public in such a small span of time! 👏

Not judging her though since these are part and parcel of being and surviving in the industry and in the public's minds. The Indian audience usually dislikes non chirpy and serious actors and prefer more full of life actors offscreen but somehow I feel, she is being repetitive and the mask is slowly going to come off if her plans in BW doesn't go as per expectations.
