Don't watch the movie, saying this being a SRK fan. It was so bad that I wanted to leave even before first half. There is no need to false praise. This is the worst movie of SRK. You won't feel anything for a single character. And all bawa Singh dialogues are so cringeworthy that you will feel sorry for yourself watching the movie. And the ending. Literally worst I have seen in a decade! Like I can't understand why such a good actor like SRK would agree to do such a shit. You will feel nothing for his Character. So much badly written character this is. I have watched the show in local cinema hall, there were some SRK fans. Even they were so disappointed 🥱 Utterly mess this was!

Top Openings 2018: Zero 10th - Baaghi 2 And Thugs Rule

Zero had the tenth best opening of the year in terms of occupancy and a Shahrukh Khan film should be doing better. The occupancy is lower than the last big release 2.0 (Hindi) but the opening day collections may edge past that film as it has higher capacity and far higher ticket rates at multiplexes.

Thugs Of Hindostan is the biggest opening of 2018 and is the only BUMPER opening of 2018 along with Baaghi 2. Thug Of Hindostan released on a national holiday while Baaghi 2 was a a minor holiday. Sanju and Race 3 (pre Eid) took EXCELLENT openings on non holidays as did Gold and Satyemeva Jayate on a national holidays. The rest on the chart below can be classified as GOOD openings. Fourtteen films have taken GOOD or better initials and there is one more release to go Simmba and it remains to be seen what happens to that.

The top openings of 2018 are as follows. The film opening wider is given precedence for ranking

1. Thugs Of Hindostan - 65% (4700 screens) (NATIONAL HOLIDAY)

2. Baaghi 2 - 57.5% (3500 screens) (HOLIDAY)

3. Sanju - 55% (4200 screens)

4. Gold - 52.5% (3050 screens) (NATIONAL HOLIDAY)

5. Race 3 - 50% (4300 screens)

6. Satyameva Jayate - 45% (2550 screens) (NATIONAL HOLIDAY)

7. Padmaavat - 42.5% (3750 screens)

8. 2.0 - 37.5% (4150 screens)

9. Veere Di Wedding - 35% (2200 screens)

10. Zero - 30% (4450 screens)

i think they were depending on hype to work for this film, and so they fell short in terms of the script, they packed the film with srks signature romancing and cameos and thought people wud find all the space stuff fun, but you hav to hav some form of logic in the story line, it can't be completely unbelievable
