Heya Folks.
Watched Hichki today in morning and loved the movie as a whole. Rani was brilliant and ending was quite emotional one seeing all 9F batch as grown up individuals.

I felt this movie was quite under rated and couldnt get Taara Zameen Par status. On Box Office it garnered around 80 Cr. but now that award season is coming people seems to have forgotten about Hichki.

This film released in March this year.

What do you people feel ?😊

because TZP is a masterpiece.
I really liked Hichki, but at best he was a good movie, kinda like 102 not out.
Sweet and heart warming feel good movie.
TZP was a emotional roller coaster with one of the greatest acting ensemble and brilliant sounds track.
Its impact was something else.

I wrote a big reply but got deleted, I hate it when this happens
I liked hichki but it was based on another movie which was based on a real person and had that gareeb ameer bacche something like Jo jeeta wohi sikander but nonetheless Rani was awesome.

TZP was a path breaker , no body would have thought dyslexia as a subject would be central to bolly movie , with Darsheel not aamir being in the centre stage. It was about expectation of parents which every Indian kid can relate to.

Yeah that was USP of TZP and Aamir really knows how to hit right chords.
Hichki failed in music department and the kids were too many none had individual back story.

Darshil Saffary equally owned TZP with Aamir.

Tourette sydrome could have been kept for some student instead and Rani helping him/her.

Dyslexia is not the subject of TZP.😕...TZP is about treating every child/individual as their own and celebrating each one of them for what they are without weighing them down with what you want them to be! That child could be dyslexic, autistic, deaf, mute, blind , low IQ, high IQ, Gifted, Average,- I mean ALL!

Dyslexia was what the lead had and it led subsequent events to happen, he wasn't autistic , deaf, low IQ as far as I remember.
Yea, the message was that the all kids irrespective of what they have should not be made to be feel as if they aren't enough.

Dyslexia is not a disease for someone to 'have' it...the child 'is' dyslexic..like someone is a man, a woman etc...- natural wiring!

I am talking about the subject of the movie...Subject is not Dyslexia...Subject is what you mentioned in bold...

On topic: I haven't yet watched Hichki so I wouldn't be able to say anything about it until I watch the movie...I will make sure to update my reply after I watch the movie- which I am hoping sometime this holiday season!

Isn't dyslexia part of specific learning disorder in DSM 5 and also part of icd 10 . It is a learning disability. So do people have it or are dyslexic is just technicality as per me-you are free to have different opinion.

As far the subject goes , I agree.
