What is it about Salman that makes him so enjoyable on screen

Salman Khan is probably the most polarizing and popular and controversial figure in India. I'll be honest I never considered Salman a good actor he had a few decent films where he showed small traces of decent acting ability but I would never classify him as a good actor

But there is something about him which makes him look godly on screen, he has this captivating screen presence in him which makes you enjoy him on screen. Some of you might disagree but the box office numbers don't lie this man makes crap films hit just by his mere presence

So what is it about him that makes him so appealing to me and the crores of indians all over the nation

Please feel free to discuss and guys lets not turn this into a fan war lets just discuss the question at hand thanks!!!

For me, nothing. He actually makes me cringe most of the times but I get different folks have different taste. So, yeah... I am managing to deal with his presence in movies, shows (bigg boss) till the time he is working :D

Agree. Even i felt that way. Must do with his personality type ESTP. Most of Indians are INFs or ISFs..so opposite personality attracts. He looks Macho, tough and magnetic.

I think its his eyes... somehow he manages to make me love the character a lot... even a simpleton like Bajrangi...

For the people saying nothing I understand your viewpoint on Salman, not all are fans of him in fact most people aren't on the internet (shocking considering his bo pull)

But millions of indians go crazy over him even though there are tons of actors in Bollywood I am just asking what does he have that makes people go crazy

Keep in mind many actors do masala and box office appealing films but they don't always work out but he has made crappy films work due to his mere presence

Surely there must be some magnetic quality which Indians love about him

Because the characters are the real him, or what his pr portrays him to be anyway and people who dont hate him like that.

for record, I am not his fan, yet his characters connects to me...and i always wondered why... then i thought, maybe its in his eyes, the way he gets certain emotions there...
