KJo Ropes In DQ
Karan Johar's Dharma Productions is going above and beyond to give the audience strong, content-oriented films. The filmmaker is now planning to make a biopic on Air Force pilot Gunjan Saxena, who was India's first female combat aviator. She was posted in Kargil during the war of 1999 and played a pivotal part in the conflict.
We already know that Janhvi Kapoor has been roped in to play the role of Saxena. Now there's a new entrant to this film. South superstar Dulquer Salmaan has been brought on board for this and will be playing the role of a key protagonist alongside Kapoor. Salmaan, who made his Bollywood debut this year with Karwaan, already has another Hindi film in the pipeline, in The Zoya Factor. Now the actor has entered the Dharma camp and we cannot wait to see what this interesting cast has in store for us.
One More Sequel No 3
It is a well-known fact that Ahmed Khan is all set to direct Baaghi 3 featuring Tiger Shroff but here's something else. Khan is also all set to direct another part 3 of another franchise. Yes, we are talking about Welcome 3.
We've learnt that Khan is already on board to direct Welcome 3 and it will feature John Abraham, who was also a part of the second instalment. We're told that when Khan finishes shooting Baaghi 3, he will start shooting Welcome 3, whose script is being completed.
Anushka Sharma In SLB Camp?
Eight years ago, Anushka Sharma made her debut in the industry with a bang and has been delivering one power-packed performance after another. The talented actress rose quickly and has worked with many big filmmakers and production houses. Now, for the first time in her career, Sharma will be seen in a Sanjay Leela Bhansali film.
The actress, who is currently waiting for her next release Zero, will be starring in a movie under the Bhansali Productions banner. It is yet to be revealed whether the film will be directed by SLB himself or whether he will come on board only as its producer. Regardless, we cannot wait to see what new avatar Sharma will don for master filmmaker, Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
