Every star has their peak and then comes the lull.
Hrithik had his peak during Jodha akbar, ZNMD , Guzarish, Agneepath

I guess at this point, he is still relevant but with the new gen taking over, old gen seem to be fading out. When I say old gen, I mean the ones who started 10 years back.

I am looking forward to Tiger vs Hrithik coz that might be his comeback however I also hope that Tiger doesn't over -shadow him based on what characters they portray.

I thought he was brilliant in Guzaarish unfortunately It didn't work.

I say it again, this period looks like a shift from old gen to new gen taking over both for actors and actresses.

movies from previous Gen are getting lesser and lesser and new gen taking over. Its a natural shift expected . Yes , its sad to see the ones we grew up watching fading out but that's life .

It is the talk about peak, and peak of Khans is bigger than HR.

At any point of time, All 3 khans were never at the peak at the same time. At least one was having a career lull while other 2 had success.Trio's clubbing them together has helped by a large extent.
Noone's career has been consistently successful for 25 years. HR has had same. He can definitely be called in their category. 😆

Forget about claiming the Top spot. I dont think he himself cares about being in the Top spot. Look at the kind of risky roles he chooses and the breaks he takes through out his career. He has done just 20 odd films in 19 years. I think he is on his own journey and films are just a small part of his life. They are not his obsession.

This is true. Why are Khans not considered as Individual stars. This is as communal as it gets.

He should do one mainstream film a year. If he wants to experiment, it should be along with the mainstream one, not instead of.

Khans might have had dull phases. But Salman, Sharukh never took such long breaks (success or failure).

Okay let me phrase it better.
Salman had a better peak than Hrithik.
Aamir had a better peak than Hrithik.
SRK had a better peak than Hrithik.

I think he is too old to claim the top post anymore. He takes long breaks and doesn't come back with anything substantial to compensate. Public mostly forgets about his existence in between. I still hope he gets back in the game though. I know he can deliver good performance its just that he doesn't try hard anymore.

Sallu and Aamir this decade, Hrithik never saw such dominance for such long time.
He had burst like 2006 but other than that, not really strong showing that we all thought he would.

While SRK had been at top for nearly 15 years with brief times Hrithik challenged until Aamir and Sallu's late resonance.
