He doesn't need to apologize though. People can make bad films. It's not the end of the world. He doesn't owe us good films lol! He is an actor not a politician who took my tax money & went on a family vacation! Lol!

But the Khans have power over the producers...so admitting that the movie sucked is appreciated. Aamir did have say in the movie's production I am pakka sure.

If he is honest with apologizing, that means that it was he who was responsible for how the film was done. Did he impose himself over the director and the producers? Actually, I don't know what to think about this move.

When SRK stated that he let down the audience with JHMS and apologized I could understand as he had produced the movie and was also responsible for the promotion.

But Amir??? Was he indeed responsible for the outcome?

Well, he sure controlled the entire film from its script to casting. So,I dont think he can really afford to put the blame on anybody else. Still, there was no need to "apologize" afterall it is just a film.

^of course he had a say. Fatima didn't get cast just like that. Katty also was cast if I rem right thanks to another Khan's request. Acharya is a good friend of Aamir. YRF has a say but they accomodate the Khans. They may have exploited SRK initially though.

He did this to provide raw materials to his PR, and they are now on overdrive. Every trade guy big or small got their payment to tweet about his mahaanta...

Hits and flops are a part of the game... You win some, you lose some... Am sure, Aamir and YRF will bounce back with renewed vigour... #TOH is akin to a wake up call for everyone in the industry... Never take the audience for granted!

And about the botched up movie... the script had been changed after the first schedule of the film... Shankar-Ehasaan-Loy left the movie because the change was drastic and they needed to compose completely different tracks so they chose to leave instead of starting over.

Now you know who was behind the change.
