Stree worked because it was a good movie. TOH tanked cause it was a bad movie. Period. End of story. Nobody has said Aamir and Amitabh's entire filmography is bad because of TOH failure. I dont agree with this logic at all that we need to keep giving chances to bad movies just because the actors have been in some good ones. Its like if you get As in some exams the teacher should always grade you the same regardless of your performance. That's just stupidity.

Wese I agree.. considering the kind of business Amir movies have done, to go on about box office pull and what not is certainly idiotic..

Having said that, bad movies flop.. be it ra.one or TOH.. however, flop does not mean you give up trying the genre..

Tingu is touchy about his flops... asking his friends to do magarmach rona. He still claims his flop Talash made profit (Yeah for producers and him)... Last Diwali release was not his movie till it made money in China.

While his attempt of introducing and maintaining new genre is noble, script is bigger than anything.

If he wants effort to be commended than the world has turned harsher, the day the number games at BO started. Nobody cares about how good a film is, but how much it made. Mediocrity is celebrated.

Bad film is bad.. Why people expect audience to watch bad films just because they did something incredible in the past? Is that the reason why he did Fan parody? Similarly none is taking away the credit of their entire filmography just because of ToH. Lets not pretend ToH is the only bad film Amir or Amit ji ever did 😆
