Aren't you jumping to conclusions way too soon ? I understand you did not like the trailer which is perfectly okay but how do you already know they won't show loss of property and other relief operations and tension etc ...For example there is a shot of an Indian army helicopter in the teaser which they haven't kept in the trailer ...so obviously it means it will be shown in the film.
PS - Kai Po Che also had a love story of Raj and Amrita's characters ...the reference point of that film was friendship and this one is love...doesn't mean other equations do not exist...

Breathtaking visuals and amazing ariel shots and mountain-clad Kedarnath beautifully captured! That's all.

Amit Trivedi's tunes and Sara ali khan - both hold promise as of now. I hope they deliver in the actual movie .

The rest is cliched love story - religion causing conflict, the intolerable levels of hardship, intense emotions, probably a tragic ending .

All of this is set against a powerful backdrop of Utrakand floods that wrecked the town and claimed thousands of lives which forms an interesting premise for the love story but the trailer gives no indication of how it's going to be used in the plot.

VFX not impressive. But the film will 'Look' spectacular on the big screen.

i understand that kedarnath floods have larger impact but i dont find anything wrong in showing a story and how the floods effected their lives...i personally think, if they revolve a disaster around a story and personalize it, the impact of disaster resonates more...sure the general impact is always more but it is a movie, they have to dramatize it...otherwise it would be a documentary..

So they made a not so new love story out of that big tragedy and that too including a muslim religious boy and hindu religious girl ...can it get any more cliche/controversial than this .

Sara can emote at least. Plus her Hindi seems good and she doesn't seem like a rich sobo girl who's only into HW.
Visuals are stunning.

I can only comment on what is in the trailer and according to that, I sense major part of the movie to be revolving around the love story which looks very cliched to me. I'm not saying this should be a documentary but I don't wish to see just another love story with such a powerful background either. I don't usually have anything personal against any movies. If I'm wrong and movie turns to be more than a cliched romance, good for us audience only.
