Aamir Khan is set to go on a massive seven week week writing and ideating stint to USA with his core team on MAHABHARAT adaptation. Secondly, the concept is slated to be made into a seven part series and third and most important news: Aamir will be playing the role of Lord Krishna in the same. Another important thing to note is that all the seven part series will have a different director for each of the seasons. We have already told you before that Mahabharat will be a webseries and so, this format is ideal. Don't you think?

There is also a contention that Aamir is looking at an all new cast for the film and that is so as avoid any baggage of a big star attached to the project. We hope that this massive project happens soon and we get treated to something special by Mr. Perfectionist himself. Stay tuned for exclusive news about Mahabharat

Mahabharat webseries is pretty exciting, especially his character of Lord Krishna. I do look forward. But what about his next film project?

He doesn't need saving. He will be fine. The man is rich and lives a simple life for his bank balance. I am pretty sure if he doesn't work for a single day for the next 40 years of his life, he will still live pretty comfortably. He isn't going to go bankrupt or anything.

Now as for Mahabharat...if he is going to play Krishna...I only want to know who is going to play his Radha. LOL. And I am curious if some of his Gopis in real life will be interested in playing that role LOL!

A seven part series with a 50 year old grandpa aamir as krishna... nope.

This is the worse thing BW could do.

Mahabharat does need a BW remake. It will turn out worse then TOH.

I am excited but not sure if AK can pull off the Lord Krishna's role🤔...After watching him in TOH, I think he will do excellent in Shakuni or Vidhur's role!

I used to be part of IF long, long years ago. Lurked since then. Big fan of AK and JC.

I wish I could see Juhi as Radha. Obviously, not happening. Or Deepika

But there was no Radha in Mahabharata or any of the texts. She is a character from Jayadeva's Geeta Govindam.

The only wife of Krishna to appear in real time in Mahabharata is Satyabhama. Rukmini is mentioned. Later on, after Krishna's death, Arjuna narrates what happens to the wives (some retired into the forest, some chose to die - not sati - after the entourage was attacked by robbers).

Still, I wish someone else would play Krishna. His description in Mahabharata is that of a tall and well-built man, unlike the popular depiction. Imagine Prabhas instead of Nitish Bharadwaj (or Aamir). Actually, there is no mention of the peacock feather if we go strictly by Mahabharata.
