We are talking about people who were in shows where someone else was the lead. And they were hired to play the antagonist. But they got so popular that it is remembered as their show.

All this discussion reminded me of the long posts we used to make on KTH forum, so m just having fun making long posts😆.

Kutumb was always Pratham-Gauri's show. Love-hate stories have always been popular. Just like the third woman/man angle and the whole extramarital affair angle. All aped from films and from the west.

Kutumb was such a sweet show till the two fell in love and then Ekta pulled an Ekta and ruined it all. The second season was pathetic.🤢

This is one reason I get jealous of actors man. Even after so many years they have the power to make us discuss/debate about the characters they played.

Rajeev and Ronit are a class apart. Undeniable screen presence and they made these shows their own and how. Its sad the big screen didn't give them their due as main leads.

Sujal is different from both Bajaj and Angad of KYPH, Angad was a womanizer and did make kripa pregnant and kick her into the streets whereas Sujal indeed loved kashish and even though he tried to win her but he never crossed the moral grounds which sets him apart and that is why after decades also Ekta herself could not re-do a sujal garewal 😳

I never warmed upto bajaj... Its just anurag was always crying and ronit had great screen presence that bajaj got famous... But he was outright negative when they started...

Sujal was a completely different ball game... Strangely the one scene i remember the most abt him was not with kashish... But with his mom...

... He handed his mom divorce papers to sign so she would get rid of the loser dad when he found out that his dad was having an affair for years.. I don't think any male or female lead has ever done that before or after...

^There are so many scenes I remember like I watched the drama yesterday...But I agree, Sujal scenes with his mom were one of the best, if not the best! They shared such a great relationship that I wonder if such a mother-son relationship has ever been shown in any of the other dramas...I rate his scenes with his mom above even the romantic scenes with Kashish(except the confession scene, which was one of the best confessions scenes I have ever watched...)
