Rajeev opposite Divyanka in Balaji's next web series

Divyanka Tripathi finally announced everything about her web series, including the title, which is Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala. Here's everything that you must know about her digital debut.

Divyanka Tripathi gave fans a brain tease for 3 days before she finally revealed details about her upcoming web series, which will be called Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala. The actress will don a chef's hat for the same and the posters have both, Divyanka and her co-star, Rajeev Khandelwal, in avatars we have never seen them in before. Divyanka's first poster got fans thinking and guessing what the title of the show is and the next one was about her co-star. Divyanka and Rajeev will be seen romancing each other onscreen for the first time and we are eagerly looking forward to it.

Both the actors will start shooting for the web series in December 2018, which means we are going to watch the show next year only. Judging by the posters, we have a feeling the show will be inspired just a little from Hollywood film, No Reservations starring Catherine Zeta Jones and Aaron Eckhart. But it will be quite refreshing to watch Divyanka play a character other than Ishita Bhalla after a very long time. Ekta tweeted saying Divyanka is the cold lassi whereas Rajeev will be the chicken masala in the web series. This only makes things more exciting and interesting. [ALSO READ: It's Rajeev Khandelwal! Fans love watching Rajeev romance onscreen and this will be his second ALTBalaji show after Haq Se. Divyanka, however, will be making her debut on the digital platform with this one. Stay tuned with us for more updates on the show.

PS: Looking forward to this since Rajeev is the lead and also Ekta re-uniting with Rajeev in back to back shows, seems like her ego has been diluted. I wish she would cast a better actress though, DT is OTT and never really liked her onscreen, someone like Anita or Aamna would be a dream opposite Rajeev.
