go watch the making video 😆...and there were many video interviews and articles...Aamir,Sakshi and Nitesh had said that his mom had recommended...and Sakshi is also from Rajasthan - Haryana border...she knew the language...

there r many popular TV artistes whose films have not worked at the BO...not denying Sakshi's popularity among TV audience...

I will never believe that Aamir approached Kapil for a lead role in a film he is producing. And since he couldn't cast Kapil, he decided to play the lead himself.

Hard to believe Aamir thought Kapil was an apt choice to play Gulshan Kumar. Maybe Masand got it wrong and Kapil was offered the second lead or another important role in the movie?

I think it was Ranbir, whom Aamir wanted to play the lead and it didn't work out so he decided to play the role himself.
