#MeToo movement: Will Bollywood's top talent manager who uses an A-list actress' name to molest starlets be exposed next?

• Hushed murmurs and whispers of this top agency talent manager and his philandering ways with women have been discussed at private parties and media Whatsapp groups for years. The guy we are discussing is a force to reckon with. Heading one of the country's top talent management agencies, the gentleman (no pun intended) in question is apparently having sleepless nights and has been frantically speed dialling all his friends to try and ensure that he isn't outed by any of his victims.
  A source close to the agency, however, has spilled the beans to BollywoodLife and revealed his modus operandi on how he has his way with aspiring models and actresses. "He flies these girls down to Bangalore on the pretext of making them meet people and doing some serious business meetings. The hotel suite is booked for a few nights and during the entire duration, the talent manager openly violates these helpless girls asking them to surrender to his demands if they want to make it big. The fact that his roster has some of the biggest names in the business helps him convince these girls."
  It seems that his favourite opening line with his targets is dropping the name of an A-list actress, who is ruling the roost since the last few years and taking entire credit for her success. The source adds, "What is shocking is that he takes this actress' name in vain, openly in front of his work colleagues saying how he made her who she is, and how if it wasn't for him, she would be nowhere. These lines have unfortunately worked on these girls, who he has molested over a decade or so and continues to do so till today."
  Just last year, when the Vikas Bahl incident was first reported, the company he runs and its partners all panicked as they all knew that this can happen to their company so they asked the head of the company to take a public back seat and not be the face of the company anymore, instead to guide it quietly from the background. In order to make it sound like they were promoting new, young partners in the company, they had an article published in a leading daily to tell every one of their magnanimous ways, where, in reality, they were just trying to cover their boss.
  So who is this manager and why isn't anyone washing his dirty linen in public? It seems that the manager is a source of work and heavy remuneration for many actors and actresses, who his company represents. But currently one of his company's male superstars has taken a stand against a director who has been sacked by his company and is on the verge of being thrown out of the film. If the male superstar has taken such a decision for his film, why isn't he leaving this company as it has been indulging in similar or even more horrendous activities for over a decade.
  Then there is also the episode of him with this starlet, who he gifted a swanky car and a house to stay in. The girl, who is one film old, hardly made an impact in the industry but lives in the highest of luxuries thanks to the manager's favour. Buzz is that given the support that the #MeToo movement is getting, this starlet might soon distance herself from her manager boyfriend, who is also married, with kids!
  However, the source indicates that there is a high chance that one of his recent victims might muster the courage and out him in the coming days. Perhaps it is only a matter of time before his name is made public.
