Akshay is another champion of women's causes. Organizes self defense classes et al ever since the Nirbhaya incident. Sajid's antics were made known to the industry by Bipasha. Still they simply paid her to keep her mouth shut while continuing to work with him.

Akshay has worked with everyone from Sajid Khan multiple times to Subhash Kapoor to Nana Patekar after the Tanushree allegations. They were all public so you didn't need to have inside information.

But whatever, as long as this metoo thing forces them to act now, it's better than doing nothing.

Didn't Tanushree accuse Akshay of still working with Nana after her allegations even though Twinkle supported her? Now that the movement has gained momentum everyone is acting as an opportunist. Akshay could have easily acted on the allegation way before Hotstar, Ekta, Aamir, MAMI etc etc..

A project is not just about one person. How come they never thought about the unit members whose livelihood depends on the projects they are currently working on. Who will compensate them ? Why can't they freaking change the director and shoot the rest of the movie.
