A newly minted private members club, which has been trying hard to sell itself as an international haute spot, is fumbling already. After a month of parties to showcase its property and facilities, and having Bollywood and fashion personalities on its roster of founding members, it recently sent out an email inviting guests to take memberships. To its surprise, it has found few takers. This has come as a big blow to the club that had planned its India debut for about five years.
