I have mixed feelings about this. Unlike how the Me Too movement started in Hollywood, it took multiple women who all held allegations against the same man, making everything pretty clear cut.

It's always more difficult to pick sides in the case of Nana and Tanushree coz it's one person's word against another. To jump the gun and and support Tanushree without any fair investigation and trial is unfair to the man, but to support Nana and say he's such a great guy, is unfair to the woman.

The best response in such a scenario is exactly this - to wait and watch and let the law investigate.

Good answers...this is a serious matter...and they both are huge celebrities...a slip of tongue would create hungama...as serious as this thing is...it needs to be investigated properly before people start passing judgments..

I can totally believe this. Remember Tisca Chopra without naming names called out a reptile' who was calling her to his room? And indirectly hinted a big hero was hitting on a hairstylist or something?

I agree that it's great that she has spoken up, but I really want a proper conviction or maybe a few more people to speak out before shitting on Nana.

Harassment is a serious crime, but like any other crime any allegation needs to be investigated before we paint someone out to be the bad guy. Unless of course it's a clear cut case, as was the case with Weinstein and multiple victims speaking out.

Here's to more women speaking up and stepping forward

I remember reading about Tanushree allegations then only in film magazines but it petered out.

I was interested because the film starred a model Muzamil Ibrahim who was good looking and had gained fame after starring in Music videos and acted in Pooja Bhatts Dhokha.

Anyway, it's not like Tanu is going to get a heroines role in films that she would raise her voice now. She didn't get justice then. A hardcore molester got away scot free but karma always comes back. Be it after a decade. All that stress probably took a toll on her mental and physical health. Imagine the hero asking a lewd dance number to be picturised so he can touch her and she is helpless because choreographer can't say no?

But justice cannot served based on mere sentiments .. Let's see ..

Tanushree gave detailed account of what happened , has Nana reacted yet ?

why ?? What is wrong with investigation? Do men not deserve the right to justice? Just because the accuser is a woman doesn't mean that the man shouldn't have the chance to explain himself...also it is in favor of Tanu also if at all this is true...to get the justice she deserves if what she is saying indeed happened...don't say that an investigation is sad...its not sad ...its fair...

^^ Errr .. Blue ice ji , I think that member simply meant that the incident was unfortunate .. Not that investigation is sad .. In fact , I think the member meant investigation is necessary .. Not sure if there was any sarcasm involved ..
