As for Sadak2 ever since Pooja Bhatt confirmed that there will be a Sadak2 every other article talked about him and Alia doing this movie. And Pooja never denied it, always said something like it's too early to talk about the rest of the cast. So it's not like this is the first time his name is getting attached to this project. Doesn't mean he was the first choice for sure, just that this not something that popped up right after the big announcement of two days ago.

It was the way Bhatt narrated the story that made Alia feel that no other director could direct Sadak 2. "When I heard the story, I told him what Sanju had already said, that I cannot do this film if you are not directing it. I was not just in tears, but I was sobbing and shaking at the end of it. He put up the most creative narration that I have heard in my life with the music and the beats. It was so earnest that it broke my heart. Sanju recently told me, Alia you don't know what you are getting into. You have no idea what it is to be directed by your father'. At the shoot of the picture with the cast, I got a glimpse of it. And to tell you the truth, I am scared for my life because if that's the kind of emotional journey that we are going to go on for I don't know how many odd days, I think I may just end up being born again.

I don't think Alia cheated on sid! The rumours with Jackie looked more like an excuse for the break up . But I won't be surprised if Alia dumped him because of the way things are for him career wise. Having said that there is no denial that she quickly moved on to ranbir. And no one questioned her on the break up with sid. Where as if one notices , in Sid's recent interviews the questions on friends and relationships in the industry gives away how things are so messed up for him.

Sid and Jackie rumors first started by Ranbir's de facto spokesperson Rajiv Masand. But nothing came of it because Alia and Sid were going strong. The rumors started again during AG promotions because that's what happens during promotions. There were also rumors about Sid and Katrina during BBD promotions. The Jackie rumors didn't die down after the movie because Alia and Sid were going through a bad phase before reconciling around Diwali, and people just made one about the other. The reason a lot of people think Alia cheated is because her "bad phase with Sid started shortly after she started rehearsals for Brahmstra with Ranbir. Also it seems like after she finally broke up with Sid for good she was with Ranbir just a few weeks later. Personally I think Aloobir is PR with bedroom privileges but the bedroom part of it might have started first and early 😆.
