Karan Johar on Priyanka Chopra being older to Nick Jonas: Who made the

It's been a few days since Priyanka Chopra
and beau Nick Jonas announced their
engagement to the world and people can't
stop discussing it. When their dating
rumours started making the rounds people
started talking about PeeCee being older
and the age gap between them. But as we
say Love is Love, Priyanka finally found her
life partner in Nick and they are a happily
engaged couple now. After making it official,
PriCk, as they are fondly called, has been
making several public appearances.
Recently, during an interview on the show
Off Centre, Priyanka's friend and ace
filmmaker Karan Johar was quizzed about
Priyanka being older to Nick. To which he
stated, "Relationship should not be about it.
I am very liberal and progressive among
these things. I have never thought, 'Oh, your
man should be older than you.' Why? Why
should we say these things? If you find
compatibility and you find a relationship of
comfort, who cares who's older than who."
KJo further said, "Who made these rules that
the man should be older? Like sometimes I
have heard members of my family say things
like this. Sometimes, I feel that's the saving
grace of the relationship. Sometimes the
maturity that a woman brings to the table, I
think it can actually make sure that the
relationship has a strong binding. So, I really
don't buy all these things, it doesn't make
sense to me."

Abey ghonchu, this rule was made in a time when marriages were more about taking the khaandaan forward with babies... Women were 5 years younger as biologically that difference was perfect.

I love Karan Johar👏 yes who says one has to be older or younger. But I think you should choose at least someone who looks like their age. I love Nick jonas but he looks younger then he's own age. Just like that jimmy kimmel guy said "He looks like he's 11 years old." He is so innocent and he lived a clean life most of the time, now he gets married to a woman like PC who didn't live a clean life, she is a manipulating chick, I feel sorry for him. But if they are happy together, good for them.

Not that I care for this relationship but I ABSOLUTELY AGREE with KJo!!! Doesn't matter at all, esp in today's day & age, that the man is younger etc. wherever we click & love, is perfectly fine.

He also wants to say that the Alia Ranbir age gap shouldn't matter either. For the most part, I agree. Age is just a number when it comes to two consenting adults. But working in urban education I have seen teenagers date men in their forties because their willing to buy them prom dresses. These girls don't have the judgment to give consent as of yet.

I agree age doesn't matter...but what I will say is its very important for people to be compatible - I dont know these two personally but 25 year old guys are hardly mature lol...and

Not every young guy is immature. Nick is probably more mature than Priyanka tbh. Look how he spoke about their relationship:

Yes, in modern times it's irrelevant but don't insult your forefathers by calling them stupid just cause their situation and pov was different from yours.

He didn't called them stupid though. I don't think he is judging them, he is questioning them, and nothing wrong with that.
Also sad thing is for many of cases women were not five years younger but literally five years old.
