Vishal Bharadwaj's next film starring Irrfan
Khan and Deepika Padukone was rumoured
to have been shelved following Khan's ill-
health. Though the actor is reportedly
recovering, there is not much development
known about the untitled movie. However,
in an interview, Vishal maintained that he is
waiting for Khan to return and recover to
take a final call on the movie. " He told
Mumbai Mirror, "No matter whch film Irrfan
chooses to return with, I'll be happy to have
him back. Our cinema needs him.
Irrfan is currently in New York where he is
taking treatment after he was diagnosed
with a neuroendocrine
tumour earlier this year. Vishal had
announced that the movie has been
postponed. Earlier, Deepika reacted to the
news of his ill-health and said that she is
extremely fond of Irrfan and that his tumour
news did not come as a shock to her.
"Anything can happen to anyone. Nothing
shocks or alarms me anymore, but I do wish
him good health and a speedy recovery,"
she had said.
Vishal also added that a Talvar sequel is also
in the pipeline and is waiting for the High
Court to lift the embargo on the Ryan
International School case for the same.
Irrfan apparently will be returning to the big
screens post recovery with Hindi Medium
sequel. If reports are to be believed, the plot
will forward ten years and narrate the next
part of the story of the Hindi loving Raj, the
character played by Irrfan.
