What Happened to Vishesh Films? Mahesh Bhatt's production house

After begum jaan, have their production house suffered a setback or what...the studio which was known for making back to back movies have no movies in the pipeline...infact they started tv production with a show called naamkarann which also has gone off air. is the studio gone bankrupt or what?

Poor Alia-she has Dharma and Vishesh to save..Had it not been for Jahnvi(who has signed her third film for Dharma)-Alia would be working 4 shifts a day..365 days a year.

they mostly produced films on sex and horror and both genres r currently exhausted

if i am not mistaken aashiqui 3 was also announced with alia but it didn't happen, unless sadak doesn't go on floors we can't be sure of it..

indeed vishesh films is in trouble, they were once the most bankable production house

They had to resort to Horror and Sex as they were already struggling. Now even those started bombing so they are in a mess.

You know what happened to the director of Don (Original wala)? After the huge success of Don, he waited first for Big B and then for Dilip Kumar... he kept waiting for them, they kept leading him on for years and then he lost his mojo. Waisa hi hua hai Vishesh Films ko. After Ashiqui 2's huge success and seeing Shraddha becoming popular, Aloo wanted her dad to make Ashiqui 3 with her. Aur wahan Mahesh-Mukesh bhi 3-4 flops ke baad sochne lage Aloo Baby ek film kar degi toh production house phir se patri mein aa jayegi.. so they stopped taking risk with newbies and cheaper actors.

But i always thought they survived the business through producing small budgeted films because even if their films don't work, they were never at big losses..all those films like murder, jaanat, raaz series. They made great bucks all along so to see them going low and down like this is something really unusual and unexpected.
