Keralites were saying that Malayali superstars like Mammootty donated 25 lacs and Mohanlal 35 lacs. Very very generous of SSR since he's still a newbie and probably doesnt even have a market there.

But on the one hand I hear that donate and dont publicise but on the other people keep asking celebs how much they donated. But I guess this is how the world rolls today.

A very good gesture indeed...a newbie Bollywood star like SSR donating this much amount is very significant when even the megastars of mollywood didn't had the courtesy to donate even half the amount of this.

And somehow I got teary eyed reading the article because I was imagining how overwhelmed that fan might be feeling now..PR or no PR but he could make someone feel special and happy to this extent..that itself is a great job.

HAHA. How is SRK doing it secretly if you know about it? 😆 I've seen him doing maximum publicity through his PR and Resul Pookutty. Everyone who donates is good and SSR donated more than what he earns. But SRK fans like to pretend that only he's some kind of anna daaata.

The focal point should be that his hard earned money is going to facilitate some of the vulnerable and helpless ones. It is said intentions outweight action, it should be the opposite here. Why delve into motives?

SSR has not become a mahaan aatma or a great hero because of this act.
He is still the arrogant and over enthusiastic crook.
But it is a nice gesture and what is wrong if it is highlighted.

Rest of India hates Kerala? What world are you living in? Even a tiny state of Nagaland which in itself is battling with floods and devastation pitched in 1 cr for relief fund and sending in whatever reluef material they could provide. Neighbouring states tamilnadu, karnataka (which is also battling floods), maharashtra, telangana, AP, orissa (which is a poor state) everyone have pitched in crores of rupees and more than that sent in volunteers, skilled personnel and tonnes of relief material without any delays. Commoners are pitching in so much help and support but still people come up with strange divisive ideologies 😕

I saw this the day he posted and was amazed by his gesture and kindness. Then I come to this thread and see someone commenting how the fan must be teary eyed when he/she saw this gesture from him and something struck me. So I go back and check the fans account. Joined in August 2018. Two tweets only that too only to Sushant. 15 followers. Signs of being a paid fake account for PR purposes.

P.s: Sorry I jumped to a conclusion pretty quick here. Forgot that the conversation took place ininstagram. Also missed out that the convo wasn't there on his twitter account. I have become very skeptical about people nowadays 😆 Bless Sushant for his kindness and thoughtfulness not only to the people in Kerala but also for his fans.. Thats a huge amount almost 1/10th of what some state governments gave Kerala.

I don't mind people helping others and not being discreet about it!!! Hell they can shout from rooftops about their genorsity for all I care, main point is he actually helped people and that too more than he afford, his organisation has also set up medical camps and providing other basic necessities!!! Even if he wants to highlight all of that so be it, even if he does not qualify to be hero!!! who cares, I am sure the people who are in need would have different take on this like who they prefer!!! A arrogant brat who helps people or a humble hero who does nothing more than lip service!!!
