I read the interview and it is clear Roshans share a good professional relation. But I dont think they are close enough to know about her marriage plans else they wud hv been at the engagement too.

Rakesh Roshan said that he did not realize that one day, she will go to Hollywood. That is not the same as calling her a Big Global Star. Maybe she will be one day. But, right now, she is not. Especially after her Chris Patt film got shelved.
