Your issues with film SANJU ?

Its NOT about the EXPECTATIONS were so high as few may think, as I just watched Sanju few days ago.

I intentinally watched it with open mind with no expectations whatsoever and neglecting the BO or hype around it since its release... even than I found Sanju the LEAST ENGAGING uni-layered without any depth movie outta all Hirani's outings...not weak, not patchy, but subtle kind of underwhelming experience for me.

Whats your take over this.

you can mention any other reason in the comments as well if you have not found Sanju that mazaydaar of a movie unlike Hirani's other films (mind it...all of his previous films were on as serious subject as Sanju was...even 3 idiots was a very dry theme, but presented in such a wholesome engaging/interesting way).

PS: No fights plz, I am an admirer of RK's acting right from the start, so kindly no paranoia about an agenda whatsoever...str8 from the heart post.

What I liked.

Ranbir's acting. 👍🏼
Manisha as Nargis was a treat to watch.😳
Kar har Maidan fateh song.👏
That feeling of a typical Raju Hirani film.😃

What I hated?

Overly stretched "friendship" track with Vicky Kaushal.🤔
No mention of Dutt's first wife and her death, their daughter Trishala, his 2nd marriage and divorce with Rhea Pillai, his alleged affair with Madhuri Dixit etc.
Sanjay Dutt's sisters?? Did they utter even a single dialogue throughout the film ?🤓
Ruby's track? W*F was that?😲
Sonam Kapoor, playing a fictional character that served no real purpose in the story.👎🏼
Not much about Bollywood and his film career in the 90s.🥱
