I love Imran Khan as a cricketer. One of the best swing bowlers and captains.

I rooted for him in his early days of politics. He had some very progressive views and vision for Pakistan. Over time to establish himself politically, he was shifted dangerously on some issues. He has aligned with some religious hardliners and expressed some misogynistic stances.

While he speaks of 'amicable' ties with India. Every newly elected head in India or Pakistan talks of amicable ties. Its the follow-through that matters.

So I currently cannot congratulate or support him. I will support him if he acts in a manner that I can stand by.

this is news for me bcs pakistani ppl alwyes say "we love indian,common ppl dont hate them ,we want peace,aman ki asha n all.every thing is a lie.

pak indo always blame each other ...one need to rise above blame game and yeah imran won by himself he is more popular then any army leader since last 5-8 years he was a winner in 2013 but that time election was held under nawaz shariff caretaker government they helped him to rig the election and later nawaz shariff rewarded them with minesteries ..., army can not benefit imran khan he alone was a popular leader in Pakistan since last some years ...the narrative of army helping Imran is a myth without any evidence spread by nawaz party pml n and indian meida...pmn l is now opposition and this is on forefront that india always had a soft corner for Nawaz shariff they would go by his points so let me clarify this that no army intervention happened in this election ... and its also misconception that pakistan hate india ...if that was the case why i am here lol grow up your senses but yeah if u note indian media and pakistani media then i guess indian media always have shown aggressive attitude toward pakistan with their loud voices when ever they call any pakistani person on talk shows few years back veirender sehwag said to sohaib akhtar on face that we are baap and we will win ,,,,, have u heard something like that from any pakistani person?

a sensible person harshit saxena took a stand on how indian media behave with pakistani guests
