Sanju's first weekend collection is 100 crore and Soorma's first weekend collection is 13 crore. It says a lot about our choice and love for a drug addict rather than a real national hero! #SanjuVsSoorm

Now you know what is wrong with the country. #SanjuVsSoorma - we all know which movie is inspirational, about someone who fought against all the odds and brought glory to #India. But which one are we actually supporting?

Don't you think stories should be inspirational like #Soorma and not glorifying a drug addict! #SanjuVsSoorma

Honestly, I'll chose biopics on criminals and controversial celebrities over some inspirational person who contributed to our country. No shame in accepting that. Controversial people have much more interesting and spicy life, which is entertaining to watch on-screen. It's better to read the auto-biography of inspirational people, instead of watching their movies, because Bollywood doesn't do justice to their story.
Also movies on sports, sports-person, comeback stories,...Bollywood has made alot of films like these. I don't find it interesting anymore. But how many Bollywood movies are made on flawed movie stars? I think Sanju is the second movie like that after The Dirty Picture. It's time for Bollywood to explore new genres.

Sanjay dutt's life has had many ups and downs, but if you think he is the only "controversial" person and baaki superstars of Bollywood are doodh ke dhoole you are very wrong, they are just fake enough to hide their bad stuff, Sanjay on the other hand is a honest person.

I never said that other Superstars are doodh me dhule. Being non-controversial doesn't mean you are a saint. Sanjay Dutt's life is interesting enough to make a biopic on his life.

It is very interesting. He is the perfect example of how to come out of shit stronger and better. The amount of comebacks Sanjay dutt has made in his life no one has. Every time he has proved his dictators wrong. The jail term of 452 days would be enough to drive anyone insane, but instead he came out of it stronger and did so many movies like mission kashmir, Jodi no.1, the cult classic munnabhai and of course vaastav, for which he even won best actor. When he was in his drug phase people wrote him off and he came back with immensely brilliant performances in Naam, Sadak, saajan and khalnayak. Sanju is the perfect example of how to not lose your shit and keep at it and prove your dictators wrong each and every time. Sanju fought like a tiger, and I respect such stories. I admire how he never ever got back to drugs even when he went through the most turbulent of times. He continued his fitness regime and he continued working in Bollywood. And now comes this biopic, in which he has opened up about being controversial and opened up about his mistakes, yet it is being lapped up by the audience and how! Sanju's whole career and his whole life is an enigma, I know this has become an essay and I am sure you don't even care, but I just wanted to say this, I respect him for what a strong human he is, and of course it goes without saying that he is an amazing actor, at least for me. I am sure loads of indians share my sentiments, his story is inspirational, not easy to come out of shit, he makes it look easy.

Filmein sirf teen cheezo ke wajah se chalti hai ... entertainment, entertainment, entertainment ...
In India movies are considered only as a source of entertainment...no one goes to a movie to get knowledge/inspiration/life lessons/develop moral values(there may be exceptions like intellectuals, pseudo intellectuals etc).. otherwise it's always about entertainment.. people will always choose the more entertaining/engaging film...
