Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh for Dhoom 4?

Well, seems like Race 3's average performance at the box office has motivated Salman Khan to sign movies that will prove his acting calibre. The actor has some great projects line up in future including Dabangg 3, Bharat, Kick 2, Sher Khan and a dance film with Remo D'Souza. And with so many movies already in the pipeline, his schedule is packed for the next two years. Yet, we hear the star has given his nod to Yash Raj Films' Dhoom 4, which will release in 2020. Yes, you read it right. If the recent reports by Mid-Day are to believe, Aditya Chopra has already finalised Khan as the lead in Dhoom 4 and an official announcement will be made soon.

A trade source close to the same tabloid said, "While Salman and Aditya have been discussing Dhoom 4 for over a year, the deal was finally locked last week post the release of Race 3. Adi plans to release Dhoom 4 in 2020. Vijay Krishna Acharya, who's busy shooting Thugs of Hindostan, will direct the movie. And hold on! That's not where the excitement ends. There are also reports that Ranveer Singh will be a part of it. Imagine Salman and Ranveer together in a film! It's going to be a kickass entertainer and we are already rooting for it. The shooting will commence early next year and is likely to go on for 130 days. Major parts of the film will be shot in Dubai and the locations have been finalised by the makers.

When tabloid got in touch with YRF's spokesperson, they denied the news saying, "Work on Dhoom 4 hasn't started yet. There's no truth to these rumours. However the source insists that Adi is planning to make an official announcement once the paperwork is complete and hence all the secrecy.

A reference poster of Salman's character with long hair and a scar has also been made. He won't play a negative character but his role will be similar to Hrithik Roshan and Aamir Khan's characters from the previous installments. So let's wait and watch when the makers will finally announce Salman and Ranveer's collaboration.
