SRK fans have got a strong-hold on IMDb. They give multiple fake ratings to a lot of his movies. No wonder they would give poor ratings to Salman films.
Fans are the ones who usually give 10/10 ratings to films of Salman and SRK. Almost none of the films they've made in the last decade are truly good films so this is like a proxy for how many active fans are giving 10/10 votes to their idol's films and 1/10 votes for their idol's rival's films.
Sample this, a torturous film like Jab Harry Met Sejal got 37% votes for 10 rating. Raees got 40% 10 ratings. Dear Zindagi got 42%. Fan got 44%. Dilwale and HNY 30%.
Sample Salman's film on the other hand: Race 3 got 14%, TZH 30%, Tubelight 21%, Sultan 26%, PRDP 21%. Almost all the films are nowhere close to what SRK's films are rated. Even a universally acclaimed film like Bajrangi Bhaijaan only got 35% 10/10 ratings. Which is lower than films like Fan, Raees, Dear Zindagi.
The converse analysis (where you check for 1/10 ratings), the same is the case, with Salman receiving more 1/10 ratings than SRK.
So it's just SRK fans at work. Besides, of course, there is a lot of badwill for films like Race 3, where even a neutral audience would give poor ratings because it was so underwheming and ruined their festival outing.
