Race 3 has low second weekend : BOI

Race 3 had a low second weekend of 16 crore nett plus which is a drop of 84% from the first weekend. The drop was always going to bigger than normal from the first weekend due to Eid holidays being over the first weekend but it had to be around 75% which would have made a HIT film.

The total of the film is now 155 crore nett after ten days which is still decent but this is due to a big first week and it has not sustained in week two. The film is still best in UP and Bihar in its second week although collections have dropped there also. The worst performance has come in South, Nizam / Andhra is okay as Eid helps there big time but Mysore and Tamil Nadu / Kerala are poor. In Mysore it will stay below a film like Raazi.

Race 3 has also struggled in Mumbai circuit where the collections will not reach the 50 crore nett mark. The figures of Race 3 till date are as follows.

Week One - 1,39,97,00,000 apprx

Friday - 3,75,00,000 apprx

Saturday - 5,50,00,000 apprx

Sunday - 7,00,00,000 apprx

Second Week - 16,25,00,000 (Three Days) apprx

TOTAL - 1,55,22,00,000 apprx

The lifetime figure will depend on if the film can collect anything when Sanju releases as apprecition is not there so it could be down to a very low screen count when a big film like Sanju releases which seems to have Ranbir Kapoor back in form after a long time.
