Theres a new promo that shows Janvhi's character breaking down and I think her acting is phenomenal in it! I saw it on instagram

^ I saw it on TV too and she was good in it except for when she screams. I think her voice texture is going to be somewhat of a hindrance when it comes to high pitched dialogues like Rani Mukherjee. The scream will turn into a screech. But except for that, she was good but really bad on the part of the marketing team for cutting the promo like that where she talks about her mom. It's pretty evident why have they used the dialogue in the promo. That's why I hate marketing teams of Bollywood movies. Ridiculous they are.

(Obviously judgment restricted to just the promo.)

Oh that was my favorite part, when she screamed...I thought it was really heart-felt and a strong voice...her voice is deep so it works for me...its when the likes of Shraddha/Alia yell where it hurts my ears cuz they can get kind of shrill and loud. Even Kangana is a bit shrill.

@ 4:23 - Aiyoo Kadvale 😆 I wonder if Janhvi knows how to speak in Tamil or Telugu. From her childhood pictures, it did look like Sri raised both her kids with a very strong south indian influence if you see their clothes and places they used to visit like Tirumala,etc. It would be nice if she too can speak Tamil dialogues and work in the south industry. Atleast she'll get much better training as an actress than in Bollywood.

One of their most enjoyable interviews during the whole promotions phase. Did they mix anything in the tender coconut? They looked so high and drunk, given up on the world.😆 Their promotions have been really fun for the film.

On another note, just 48 hours to go for the release...

From what Ishaan said, I guess there's a screening for Shahid today, so maybe some other celebs will also be invited for it.

Janhvi Kapoor's focussing on Dhadak

The young actress says that she isn't even thinking about another movie until the release of her debut film.

Though her mother, Sridevi, struck a balance between south Indian and Hindi films, Janhvi Kapoor is focussing solely on Bollywood. Dismissing rumours regarding her having signed a south film, she says, "I have heard that rumour. But no, I am not doing any south film. At the moment, my priority is Dhadak. I am concentrating on promoting my first film before taking on anything else. That is the only movie on my mind.

The debutante is expected to be in competition with Saif's daughter Sara Ali Khan at all of next year's award functions. Apart from her debut film Kedarnath, Sara also has Simmba lined up for release this year.

But Janhvi says that there's no rivalry between the two. "There is no competition. I am looking forward to watching her films as an audience member. She holds great promise and I think women should support each other, she asserts.

No most of them has..except for maybe Anupama..in every interview they ask the same set of questions about her mom...she finally lost her cool yesterday in the ABP news interview and gave a strict answer and asked the reporter to change the question...it was so silly..they had put up photos of Janhvi and Ishaan with their parents,friends,etc on the wall and the reporter took Janhvi near a huge photo of hers and Sridevi's merged together and sstarted asking about her mom again and again reagrding her on the sets of Dhadak...such idiots these journos are! 🥱

I think apart from Anupama and Faridoon, everyone have asked either directly or indirectly.
