There's a difference between being dark and ugly.

I wouldn't mind hesitating saying so if that was the case.

He'll probably grow into it like SRK/Ab senior. He was quite unattractive as a kid though.

Ishaan needs to bulk, fix that hairstyle...and then you see ... he will radiate so hard that every fair skinned actor will get a tan from his radiation!

I agree on first impression. I remember one of my friends from school was obsessed with Shahid and I didn't get why. My first impression of Ishaan was that he was cute. But Shahid got a great glow up with bulking up and growing facial hair and I think he's pretty hot now. It looks like he'll age well.

I do prefer Ishaan then Shahid, i also find Ishaan more nuanced as a actor from what i have seen so far in both his movie trailers and Ishaan seems more fun spirited guy off-screen. (Shahid to me gives off the air that he can get moody, which i cant stand)

No, Shahid is definitely the better looking brother.

I remember crushing hard on Shahid back when he debuted. I'm sure most girls did. Ishaan isn't really good looking. He does seem charming which can work in his favor. (as it does with many male actors). I'm sure he'll also focus on grooming as time passes.

Shahid for me is one of the only bonafide handsome guys in Bollywood. Symmetrical aesthetically pleasing conventional good looking features. And everyone but everyone knows it's NOT plastic surgery because he has been around since the coke ad when he was just a boy and he was pretty then.

Aditya Roy Kapur, Sid malhotra, salman Khan, Aamir Khan are the others. They were handsome in those days when plastic surgery hadn't become the new foundation powder lipstick and every Tom Dick and Harry and every Jane, Jill and Janet weren't able to acquired razor edge jawline, artistic cheekbones, symmetrical nose and delicate hollows, dimples and pouts at the drop of a hat and some money.

Just go back to their first three films and see.

Ishaan has a nice face. No way is his face anything to criticise. Expressive eyes, engaging smile.

If he wants to he can also develop cutting edge cheekbones, chin, shape his lips., eyelids and what not. I hope he doesn't. Bollywood is overflowing with plastic. We don't need more. What Bollywood needs is natural. The genuine thing.

Both Shahid and Ishaan have good personalities, they're very articulate. Ishaan even more so since he is so young. He speaks better at 22 than some at 40.

Kuch bhi. Shahid Kapoor was practically every tween/teen girl's crush when he started out. He still is a handsome guy.

Ishaan is not bad looking either. He is still pretty young and will take a few more years to grow into his looks. He does seem to have charm, which is what the male actors need more than looks anyways.

Shahid is fair? Aaj pata chala. 😕 😆 I don't think the female audience has any preference for skin tone when it comes to heroes though. If anything bechare fair heroes hardly ever make it to the top in Bollywood. I don't think it's due to any distaste for them, it just so happens that most Bollywood heroes are on the browner side of the spectrum. The only fair heroes I can think of are Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jugal Hansraj and Shiney Ahuja. Maybe Ranbir too I guess?

I think Shahid has always genuinely been a cutie. So fresh and youthful looking. He wasn't super alpha or masculine looking but that worked in his favour. As everyone mentioned already, he was the heart throb of most little girls/tweens/teens because of his juvenile appearance. Ishaan has that kiddish look too that could perhaps appeal to little girls but he's not as adorable as Shahid. 😳

Both brothers are incredibly charming, articulate and well-spoken though. ❤️
