Look wise Ranbir was perfect. I have doubts now whether Neetu and Sanjay had an affair cos Ranbir looked eerily similar to Sanjay in that song.😆 Ranbir doesn't look 1% Kapoor.

Well comsidering ranbir did do justice to sanju, i think ranveer could also have done it. Its wrong to assume that he couldn't. Weren't people assuming that ranbir is not suitable for sanjay dutt's role? (including me) In the end it depends on the actor's hardwork and also the director's efforts to bring out the best out of an actor.

I think ranveer could also have done it Imo. But yeah i find shahid a lot better than both actually. He is underrated.

How does it matter to whom it was offered? Ultimately the one who did it is important and whether the person has done a good job or not. So many roles now considered iconic were not done by 1st choices but 2 or 3 choices who won accolades for it. The role belongs to the one who performed it well.

My favorite Ranbir has never been called ugly on this forum...people do not call him having a big pakoda nose, or aging badly, no one ever calls Biru a chacha or a Kaka either...so I guess we Biru fans are just lucky😳
