Driving home the stereotype that brown people are terrorists? And where do brown people predominantly come from? India. Maybe it's time she stops talking about 'racism,' and understanding the plight of Indian Americans and representing Indians when she can just turn around, be a hypocrite, and do something like this. Might as well state that you don't give a fig about anything else except your career and money, instead of falsely pretending otherwise.🤔

Heroes Alex for 3 seasons and Jagdeep this season and Alex's mom in first season and coming up later this season outweigh 1 episode IMO. They've shown many brown people on this show in other ways for one episode to stereotype them as terrorists.

And there's a difference between fiction and reality. Don't like the narrative don't watch. Don't like Priyanka's talking about racism she faced then don't read/watch her interviews. People threatening her online makes no sense. I don't think anyone deserves death threats for a fictional show

How is it that PC is always the sweet little innocent one that just always happens to land into trouble because of the big bad world and all the mean people in it? 😆

She should be ashamed of herself for participating in a narrative that frames Hindus as terrorists that then try to pin the blame on Pakistanis. Fiction doesn't mean you wade into controversial political topics and try to pass around flagrantly wrong information that can be damaging to an entire community. These trashy shows are watched by people who don't know any better and would buy into this type of propaganda that is not even slightly true.

She's become a self-proclaimed ambassador of Indians which nobody has asked for to begin with. NRIs, especially, don't see themselves in her. The community is not known by her but by the hard working Indians who live here, the restaurants and food they serve, the professions they're involved in, and for being an educated community that always wins things like the National Spelling Bee.

She is just out for herself and isn't doing anything for India either and needs to stop playing that card. She is in America because she wants to earn in dollars and expand her own career. India isn't being helped by her so-called Hollywood career. No one cares and no one is affected by it.

Apart from that, you can't shout and brag about being on world's most influential lists while still trying to play the hapless, helpless "PC has no power to change scripts" part. Either stop trying to get attention and validation for being powerful or accept you're a nobody that can't do anything. You can't have it both ways.

Isn't the Indian terrorists the same narrative that was shown in Main Hoon Naa?

Sure she didn't write it direct it or cast anyone but she literally read the script and they do several readings with the cast too. And still she went on with it. Hate of any kind is uncalled for but Priyanka deserves the brickbats and the criticism. I have been one of her well wishers but this truly disappointed me. How are you gonna tell your sob stories about racism and make a whole narrative out of it as the empowered brown woman trying to break the stereotype and then go ahead and participate in the strengthening of it ? Cause because of some bs show. It's such a sellout move.

Misdirected anger...Priyanka is probably bound by a contract and she is too small a fish to go against the bigwigs in USA entertainment industry..I am no PC fan and I criticize her all the time ,,,,,,but I don't think it was in her hand to change anything from that episode...must have been getting stuck between a rock and hard place.

ABC apologising is a much needed step but when will PC apologise for being part of maligning India, the country she belongs to? Indians have worked hard and made of themselves in USA and all that is tarnished by stupid writers and a selfish PC.

It's so unfortunate that PC did nothing to stop it and shamelessly was part of falsely implicating India in terror.

Priyanka is the Hollywood ki Rakhi Sawat. Her desperation to "fit in" is pathetic to say the least. And she is not the first Indian origin person who is trying to make a place for herself in the US. So many have and so many still are and that too without playing fake sympathy cards.
