LOLLL. But shouldn't he want to use his achiecements, trophies & medals & his humble beginnings to make his children realise that everything comes with a price & for real success you need lots of perseverance & ambition, apart from hard work? Shouldn't he make them realise that they were born famous & well-to-do, but their parents weren't at all & to appreciate & not take it for granted? What's the point of achieving the world & not making your children see the realities of it.

That is some terrible articulation. What he probably meant was that he wouldn't want to overwhelm his kids with his achievements and super success. And not bring in that facet of his life home because it's all temporary but would prefer being a normal father to his kids. It obviously came out wrong 😆 The weirder statement was him saying Anushka has made him spiritual and drift to some different path which is hard to explain 🤪 If Virat could, he would credit his wife for everything from his existence to his cover drive to his captaincy. It's annoying at times yet sweet in a way. If you go by Virat, his wife is the sweetest purest most honest most spiritual most calm person in the world. So hopelessly love struck 😆

And bcz it's Virat who said this makes it more pathetic ...a sportsman is talking abt throwing away his achievements so his kids can't see those ... How stupid Virat is

Yes its Virat's quote and he really sounds dumb 🤢

Exactly my point 😊

The trophies and achievements can be used to inspire the next generation 😛

Height of stupidity.
Seriously dude!! Then you should also donate the money that you are earning from the game. That is also a part of your profession. Please don't forget that 😡

Agree. Think he meant he doesn't want to risk his kids feeling like they are living in his shadow. It is not uncommon for children of very successful people (especially when there is a component of charisma, innate talent, or sheer luck that the child knows can't be replicated) to really struggle/flounder or just give up without even a struggle. Throw in fame and it can be even worse because if you feel you don't live up to dad (and/or mom) you also feel the entire world thinks so too.

I wish the reporter asked Virat why he wants to do this. Without knowing his reasons, we shouldn't be quick to judge.

I wonder if he is thinking that his kids might become entitled or complacent since daddy is famous. In any case. Uske bachche uske business none of our business :-)
